Experience
Dr. Johnson joined Radiology of Huntsville in 2004 after completing a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at Vanderbilt University. He earned a B.S. in Nuclear Medicine Technology at Northern Illinois University and his M.D. at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in 1998. Dr. Johnson received numerous honors and awards during his academic career. In 2003, he completed a radiology residency at Vanderbilt University where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Johnson is a member of several professional organizations including the Radiological Society of North America, Society of Nuclear Medicine and the American College of Radiology. He has written numerous publications and made several presentations on radiology topics. Dr. Johnson is certified by both the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
